Min & Max Price

Important: The Min & Max Price define a range in which SellerLogic is allowed to optimize the price. The difference between the values must be at least 0.01. The Min Price must be lower than the Max Price.

Important: All strategies require the Min & Max Price. No optimization can be activated without this information.

Group Actions

The group actions “Group Action For Selected” and “Group Action For All Products” have the same functions. “For Selected” refers to one or more products which has been selected by the small tick on the left to the product. The use of a filter does not lead to selection of the product.

Warning: "All Products" refers to ALL existing products in your account. Therefore this group action should be used with great caution.

In order to switch on the optimization, the Min & Max Price must be set, and a strategy must be assigned to the product prior to this, e.g. via the import function or in Product Settings directly. Products which do not fully meet the minimum requirements will be ignored during the application of group action. The optimization remains deactivated.

Import

It is easier to work with bundled products for large amount of data. You may simply use our import interface. For more information about the import function: https://wiki.sellerlogic.com/index/Repricer:Hilfe#Import_2

Filter

My products filter.png

Selection & Free Text Filter
The filters are located over name of the field respectively. There are 2 different type of filters. Some fields contain value which can be selected. All other fields are free text filter. For these fields comparison operators may be used to achieve more accurate results. There are following operators available:
< less than
<= less than or equal to
> greater than
>= greater than or equal to
<> not equal to
= equals
Example in the field Min Price
<2 shows all products with a min. price which is less than 2.00 euros
<=2 shows all products with a min. price which is less than or equal to 2.00 euros
>2 shows all products with a min. price which is greater than 2.00 euros
>=2 shows all products with a min. price which is greater than or equal to 2.00 euros
<>2 shows all products with a min. price which is not equal to 2.00 euros
=2 shows all products with a min. price which is exactly 2.00 euros

It enables partial matching in a free text field also.

Example with help of the title “Spare part: HP Proc. 2.4G 800DC C 775 65W, 5189-4405”

Filter by “Proc.” or further partial term leads to a matching result. The filter to “pare” (comes in the first word “spare”) leads to a matching result too.

Sorting

In addition to the filters, it is possible to sort from A to Z within the column by clicking on each field name, or sort from Z to A by a second clicking.

Product Groups

Product groups are usually suited to 2 requirements:

  • To summarize the products to a group
  • To apply a strategy to all products in one group

1. To create a group, click on the menu Products -> Product Groups.

My products group product groups.png

2. Click on “Create new” to create a new product group.
My products create groups.png

3. Enter in the “Title” field the desired group name and click on “Create”.
My products create groups title.png

4. You have created a group successfully.
My products create groups overview.png

5. You can assign to a product group a strategy which is created previously. When you assign products to a group which has been assigned a strategy, the same strategy will be applied to these products and the optimization is activated. The Min & Max Price should be set before that, otherwise the product group is assigned, but the optimization remains switched off.
My products create groups to strategy.png

Strategies

The optimization is performed within the specified Min & Max prices only. If there is a biding lower as or equal to the Min Price, it will be set to the Min Price. If it is possible to raise the price, the price will be raised till the Max Price. If there is no competitor on the market, the price will be raised to the Max Price in the strategies: BuyBox, Position, Same Price and Manual. Furthermore, the price will be optimized depending on the chosen strategies and the settings.

Simple

In the “Simple” strategy it concerns a fixed price. This is specified as amount and is checked on the accuracy at regular intervals.

My products create strategy.png

BuyBox

You should concentrate on the Amazon Buy Box to increase your sales opportunities. Once you gain Buy Box placement, your product prices will be further optimized in order to get maximum performance out of your selling price. Because Buy Box placement means you can demand noticeably higher prices than other providers who are not eligible for this status. You achieve automatically both goals with our Amazon price optimization. Thanks to this tool you have the best chance of Buy Box placement and optimal selling prices.

My products create strategy buybox.png

Position

You gain a certain position with this strategy, regardless of your prices. Suppose you want to rank second; the SellerLogic Repricer adjusts your selling price automatically to maintain this position permanently. Valid values are round numbers from 1 to 20. For example: In position 1 you are 0.01 cheaper than the cheapest seller. In position 2 you are 0.01 cheaper than the third cheapest seller. In position 20 you are 0.01 more expensive than the 19th seller.

My products create strategy position.png

Same Price

You keep your price same as the specified competitor’s price, as long as the price locates between your Min & Max Price. You enter the SellerID into the box provided. Only one seller can be entered in this strategy.

My products create strategy same price.png

The SellerID can be found by clicking on the link shown below.

My products create strategy manual.png

The SellerID is at the end of the URL. seller=A1HKWWEIBP4EC1. Enter the ID into the provided box.

Strategie gleicher preis seller id 2.JPG

Manual

The Manual strategy refers to either the cheapest competitor or the competitors who are defined in the white list or any other competitors who have not been excluded by the black list. We recommend the use of BuyBox strategy to offer your product to the best price. https://wiki.sellerlogic.com/index/Repricer:Hilfe#BuyBox

My products create strategy manual.png

Price Gap (Difference)
Desired price difference to the cheapest seller or within the black/white list
Example: -0.10 means that you wish to be 0.10 lower than the cheapest seller. 0.00 means you always keep the same price as the cheapest seller. 0.10 means you are 0.10 higher than the cheapest seller.
Value / %
Choose if the entered value is amount or percent.
Seller List Type
Define the type of the list, black (sellers in this list will be ignored in optimization) or white (only the sellers in this list will be considered in optimization)
Add Seller
Enter the SellerID in the box and click on Add Seller to add it to the list. Click on the Remove beside the SellerID to delete it from the list.
Min Number Estimates
Sellers with less than X reviews will not be considered in optimization.
Min Seller Rate
Sellers with less than X percent positive reviews will not be considered in optimization.
Use Seller
Specify if the shipping with FBA or FBM or all of them to be considered in optimization
Round Price
Specify if the price to be rounded to the following rules.
Round Step
Define a round step here.
Rounding example: round step 0.05. You round 9.91 (9.91/0.05=198.2), it results in a whole number 198.00 (198*0.05=9.9), the rounded final price is 9.90.
Rounding example: round step 0.05. You round 9.97 (9.97/0.05=199.4), it results in a whole number 199.00 (199.00*0.05=9.95), the rounded final price is 9.95.
Ignore with delivery days more than
Offers with more than X days delivery time are not considered in the optimization.
Delivery From
Specify whether the sellers sending from domestic, from abroad or all of them to be considered in the optimization.

Push

The Push strategy is based on your sales. So that you have the possibility to reduce the price of products, which do not sell well, and at the same time to raise the price as demand increases. This strategy consists of 2 parts, limits by orders and limits by orders during last days. Both parts can be combined in the listed sequence. As soon as all the events are met for the first part, the optimization in Part 2 continues.

My products create strategy push.png

Limits by Orders

In the following example, 4 events are defined. Each time when 5 units are sold, the price will be raised 0.10. It happens 4 times in this example. Example: You have a new product and would like to position it at Amazon firstly. You start from a low price and raise the price after selling X units.

My products create strategy push lbo.png

Limits by Last Day

In the following example, 2 sectors are defined. The first sector: if it sells less than or equal to 10 pieces within 7 days, the price will be changed 0.5 downwards. The second sector: if it sells more than or equal to 20 pieces within 7 days, the price will be changed 0.5 upwards. If it sells more than 10 pieces but less than 20 pieces during the period, the price remains.
Example: In this way the price can be reduced until the product is sold to customer or its searching position rises. If the desired sales figures cannot be reached, the stock will be cleared and capital is free. On the other hand, the margin is maximized when the demand on the products increases. It is important to check periodically whether the settings of strategy fit the sales figures.

My products create strategy push lbld.png

Margin

You decide what amount or percentage to be added to the purchase price.

Calculation: purchase price + desired amount or percentage + shipping costs + other fees + Amazon fee + VAT. = selling price

My products create strategy margin.png

Group Actions

Both group actions contain identical parameter. “Group Action For Selected” refers to products which have been marked with the check mark.

Warning: “All Products” refers to all available products in the account. For this reason this group action should be used with great caution.

Set Group for Products

You can find a detailed guide for product groups here. https://wiki.sellerlogic.com/index/Repricer:Hilfe#Produktgruppen

Set Min & Max Price

No Change
Nothing will be changed.
Value
A positive number with 2 decimal with a point as decimal separator.
Calculate Now
You set the Min & Max Price depending on your current selling price or the zero price.
Example: With the illustrated setting, Min Price will be set to -5% and Max Price to +10% based on the current selling price.

Important: If there is no “-” before the number, it will always be calculated “+” from the current selling price!

My products group action calculate min max.png

Automatically
The automatic calculation depends on the specified values as below described. If the purchase price or shipping costs e.g. change, the Min or Max Price will be recalculated automatically. No manual work such as changing the purchase price is necessary. The purchase prices can be read via the import interface automatically. Please see: https://wiki.sellerlogic.com/index/Repricer:Hilfe#Import_.2F_Export
Example: With the illustrated setting, Min Price will be set to +1% and Max Price to +14.95 based on the net profit.

Important: The automatic calculation assumes that net purchase price, Amazon referral fee (%), VAT (%) are filled. If the box of other fees, shipping costs, shipping costs VAT (%) are filled, they will be considered in the calculation too.

My products group action calculate min max 2.png

Set Optimization On/Off

Important: The optimization can be switched on, only if the Min & Max Price are set and one strategy has been assigned to the products. For example, via the import or in product settings directly. Products which do not meet these requirements completely will be ignored in the group action. The optimization remains off.

Amazon Marketplaces

SellerLogic supports two regions currently. Amazon EU consists of Amazon.de, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it, Amazon.es, and Amazon NA consists of Amazon.com, Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.mx. For each region, a separate account with Amazon has to be operated currently. It is also possible to manage several different Amazon accounts in one country with same SellerLogic account.

Manage accounts

The authorization of an account has been granted to SellerLogic already. To authorize more you can click on “Create new or restore inactive”. The authorization can be revoked during the test period. The seller ID and Auth Token serve the authorization to SellerLogic at Amazon via the Amazon MWS API.
